On Sunday, September 18, 2011, Norah turned 3 months and we had her dedicated to the Lord. We had our wonderful pastor, Bill Jones, read Psalm 24:4-5, "Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long" for the occasion. We are thankful that we have the opportunity to raise Norah in a godly household and our prayer is that these words from Psalm will one day be Norah's words.
Here are some pictures of us on stage for the big event at our church...
To make things even more special, Norah wore the dress that I wore when I was baptized. Thank you to my mom for saving this beautiful dress (now considered an antique), for replacing the lace on it so as to turn back the hands of time, having this dress look as good as new...
What a wonderful occasion for a family photo opp...
Of course Grandma and Pa Pa attended the dedication...
Along with Aunt Hanna and Uncle Steve...
After the dedication we put her in the nursery but changed her out of her dedication dress and into another one of mommy's antique dresses that fit her perfectly and is quite stylish for being so old...
Check out Norah's frilly butt tights...
Well, our little girl has turned into a drool monster! She loves to suck on her fingers and hands so we pulled out all of her bibs to soak up the drool. Here she is donning some of my favorites. This one says "His Little Lamb..."
And this one says "Don't Mess With Me, I Have A Big Brother..."
Sweet little lamb...
Now, for the fashion show! Here's my live baby doll playing dress-up in a bunch of Mommy's old dresses...
So, this wasn't my bathing suit but one we borrowed from a friend's little girl. We never did make it to the pool this summer so I wanted to see what my bathing beauty would have looked like...
Awww...Daddy's Little Princess...
So cute in a hair flower lovingly made by Aunt Hanna...
It must be so special dressing her up in all of your old clothes -- how neat!
