Here's Norah trying out for Nathan's band - she was drawn to the percussion instruments and seems to have a natural talent...
In addition to playing instruments, she's good at playing her saliva. What I mean by this is that she will spit out some saliva and make some crazy noises with it, laughing up a storm the entire time - she really gets a kick out of herself! She's also really into dancing (while sitting) nowadays! She can really move and groove to any beat - it's so cute to see her bop whenever there's music playing...
Nathan is debating letting her join him in his band and she's anxiously awaiting his answer...
Our beautiful girl is always full of smiles - and BIG beautiful ones at that...
On Sunday we said goodbye to her swing (thank you, Kevin, Marilyn and Eli for letting her borrow it) and she tried out the real thing on Tuesday when we went to Castlewood State Park. She really seemed to enjoy it (but sadly, Mommy didn't have the camera to document the occasion). In other news, she tried banana (which she was cautiously optimistic about), peaches (at first she was somewhat uninterested and then she was extremely uninterested - she locked her mouth shut and wrinkled her nose; however, we eventually mixed the banana with the peaches and she loved it) and chicken (to which she gave a yucky face). We can't believe how quickly our sweet little girl is growing and all the new things she's experiencing...
Fun with stacking cups...
Daddy and his sweet baby girl...
Acting shy and hiding behind her bear. However, she hasn't been acting shy when it comes to waving hello to people! She gets her arms flailing and it looks like she's wildly waving "hi!" Oh, and she now clearly knows her name; the other day she was in her activity center and I said, "Norah!" and she turned around and looked right up at me!
