What do you think of Nathan's hairdo by Baxter?!?! He gave Nathan a nice big lick on the head and the slobber served as hair gel to keep the hair sticking up nicely. You may notice that Nathan is looking a little shaggy (and I must admit, he actually has a tail going in the back) but we'll be taking care of that this weekend thanks to Aunt Hanna who just so happens to be a hairdresser. She's such a nice addition to the family for so many reasons...this being one of them!
You wouldn't believe how much time we spend by the front door inspecting the shoes on the mat (don't worry Aunt Carrie, I don't let him lick them). This picture cracks me up because Daddy's slipper is about the same size as Nathan!
This picture doesn't do the food mashed in the eyes, ears and hair any justice, but I tried to capture the moment. I was impressed that it took him this long to play with his food like this (actually, he was ready for his morning nap and was more tired than hungry I think). Speaking of food, Nathan has enjoyed some new additions to his meals this past week including apples, cauliflower and mangos! And if you're curious, yes, Mommy is still making everything!
Nathan got "Pete" the penguin from Uncle Jon & Aunt Michaelle for Christmas and he is addicted to this toy lately. When he bats at Pete, Pete makes crazy sounds and plays music...plus, I think Nathan loves that he and Pete are about the same size!
One of Nathan's other favorite past times lately is standing up at the couch and banging on the cushions! Who knew this could be so entertaining?!?! We both just laugh like crazy!
What a face!!!!! As I mentioned in the title of this post, Nathan is up to 6 teeth now (this past Sunday we were showing Grandma and Grandpa Krestel Nathan's top two front teeth and Grandma exclaimed, 'he's got 4 top teeth!' Kevan and I about fell over, but sure enough, he has 4 top teeth (we're just going with the thought that they popped through on Saturday night without an issue). Anyway, this is a face that you can find on Nathan throughout the day as he's playing with his tongue against his teeth - he must like how it feels - who knows!
That's our big boy - now using his fun sippy cup that Grandma and Grandpa Krestel got him for Christmas! We gave it to him this past Thursday morning and he knew just what to do with it (thanks to watching his buddy, Jet, drink from his sippy cup these past few months). We gave him some tasty prune juice to help with some "issues" he's experiencing as of late.

When we were over Grandma and Grandpa Krestel's this past weekend, Grandpa decided to give Nathan a chance at the stairs and he really enjoyed them (unlike his attempt in KC). Isn't the look of determination on his face so funny??

What a fun bath it was with all of Laurel's toys! This laundry room sink truly was the perfect size bath tub for Nathan!
