Today was an EXCITING day because we had our big ultrasound and got to see our sweet little Junebug! Above are the ultrasound pictures - the first one is Junebug stretching - wow, talk about claustrophobia - looking as snug as a bug (hee hee)! The second one shows a great picture of Junebug's spine which is forming perfectly - doesn't it look like he/she (only God and the ultrasound tech know which one) is praying?!?! So sweet!!! The third picture shows Junebug chillin' out on his/her back with legs crossed indian style (this was the first picture that was taken, before Junebug got woken up and was very active the rest of the ultrasound). The last picture is of Junebug's feet. The tech and the radiologist said everything looked great and the measurements were right on for a baby at 19.6 weeks. Junebug's estimated weight is 11.3 ounces. It's beyond words to see the miracle that God is knitting in my womb! We are so thankful that He has chosen to bless us with this child!
Oh, wow! That is so amazing! Beautiful! You must be so excited!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you and Kevan! We're so thankful for each week that passes with a healthy baby and a great pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteYeah! Cute first pics of your little one! I enjoyed looking at your blog and your growing belly! So fun - keep enjoying it. Let me know when you feel the first kicks!! "Rory" is quite active and I bet Junebug will be too! We're so happy for you two!!!!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely miraculous!! My heart feels such joy to see my grandniece/nephew and I so look forward to holding this child and kissing it all over! What a cute little button nose! God watch over all of you and keep you safe. Cherish every moment. I love you all!
Hugs, kisses and tummy pats to my dear three Krestels.

What a miracle and such an exciting time for you! We are so happy for you and your little Junebug. Ultrasound always reminds me of Psalm 139. We get to see into that secret place where God is knitting your little one together!
ReplyDeleteAhhh... SO exciting!! I have literally checked your blog a million times today to see if you had posted the ultrasound pics, I'm so excited and so glad everything is going so well! Love all three of you!
